On Saturday I picked up a flyer advertising the 2nd Annual "Western Maryland Democratic Summit" at Rocky Gap State Park.  The Western Maryland Democrats do not have a website that I know of so I'm just going to list what's happening for those who are interested in going.  I feel pretty lame not having a scanner to show you the leaflet but I'm going to reproduce it by hand here.

I live in Maryland near DC but I'm going to register because I want to hear the Governor, Attorney General and US Senate candidates.  I also want to see how they attack the Democratic Message problem.  I hope to see some of you Kossacks there.

Just a note about Rocky Gap State Park - They have a lake with single track mountain biking loop around it, a cool golf course and some nice paved roads for road biking if you like it.  I'm taking my bike to enjoy the gorgeous scenery there.  I've been there before and it's awesome.

I think that we need to start out in opposition by defining the Religious Right our way and get them to put some votes on record before the mid-term Congressional Election.
