On Monday the 10th of April the People for the American Way (www.pfaw.org) are sponsoring A National Day of Action: March for Immigrant Rights! in Chicago, Washington DC, New York City and Austin. I just learned about this from a co-attendee at a local progressive town meeting. She said that in Washington DC they expect over 300,000 people to attend. I'm taking off work early to make it down to the Washington Monument for the 4pm rally. I'll try and get some pictures.
I know that this isn't a big heads up for everyone but I hope to see a huge crowd in DC and I'd like to hear about the other rallies Monday night.
